Christmas Tree Recycling This Saturday

Join the tradition and give a gift to nature! Help keep the city beautiful and “Bring One for the Chipper” and recycle your Christmas tree now that the holidays are over. Locations for drop off are at the following places: Roswell residents are invited to bring their trees to one of the two Home Depot locations in Roswell on Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The two locations are on Holcomb Bridge Road in Holcomb Woods Shopping Center and Woodstock Road across from Publix. The city partnered with several sponsors :The Home Depot, 11Alive, The Davey Tree Expert Company, Keep Georgia Beautiful, Ferry-Morse Seed Company, Kiwanis Club of Historic Roswell, Starbucks and Super Target.  Trees will be chipped into mulch and will be available for delivery to the public by Davey Tree.  Residents are asked to please not drop off trees prior to the 7th of January.  As part of their  appreciation of your recycling efforts, participants will also receive seed packets courtesy of Ferry-Morse Seed Company, while supplies last.

Christmas trees can also be dropped off at Milton High school and the Home Depot off of Windward Parkway from 9am-3pm on January 7th as well.  Milton Boy Scout troop 841 will pick up trees and recycle them for a $10 donation.  To schedule a pick up email treepickup841@yahoo.com
