Sterling on the Lake in Flowery Branch is putting on a Fireworks Festival, Saturday July 2nd.  The fun festivities begin at 6pm and you can enjoy much more then just fireworks such as face painting, bouncy houses, balloon art, bubbles, DJ music, and cotton candy and food!  $5 parking for non-residents of Sterling on the Lake, but open to ALL!

Murphy Neal Jones, who spent nearly seven years in a Hanoi, Vietnam prisoner of war camp and continued his military service after being released. The ceremony will conclude with a roll call of local living and fallen veterans, punctuated by a military aircraft flyover at 11 a.m.
